ABOUT LAURA
Laura is a highly specialised speech and language therapist, advanced sensory integration practitioner, feeding therapist and teacher. She specialises in providing early intervention for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties including Autism. She divides her time between London and Mexico, is a huge fan of Mexican breakfasts and seeks lots of outdoor adventure.
Laura has worked in health and education, using knowledge and experience gained to integrate therapy and education to maximise pupils’ learning opportunities by inspiring them to play, communicate and learn. She is co-author of The Springboard Curriculum and The Springboard Curriculum: Assessment Framework.
ABOUT LOUISA
Louisa is a highly specialised children's occupational therapist, advanced sensory integration practitioner, feeding therapist and teacher. She specialises in working with children with sensory challenges or those who struggle to happily eat a wide range of foods. She is originally from Alabama but now lives with her husband and her wild / wonderful children by the sea in Sussex, UK.
Louisa has worked in an Ofsted outstanding school for children with Autism, as well as other schools and institutions around the world. She currently runs a private child development and wellness service and supports children and families who want to live a joyful, sensory-rich life.
